Weiran Liang is a graphic designer from Guangzhou. He is currently pursuing a Master’s program at the Basel Academy of Art and Design in Switzerland, focusing on research and practice in graphic and brand design. He places strong emphasis on the processes of research and design exploration, and through the investigation and refinement of project characteristics, he systematically constructs visual expressions and builds lasting value and impact for design projects.
He collaborates with clients across various industries, with work spanning branding and visual identity, posters, typeface, packaging, editorial design, and website design.
His work has been selected for and received multiple major awards and recognitions, including the Tokyo Type Directors Club Annual Awards, the New York Type Directors Club Annual Awards, The Art Directors Club (New York ADC Annual Young Ones Awards), GDC Award, and Award 360°, among others.
